Process for custom work and time estimates (5-14 weeks)
**I do not currently offer any third firing techniques such as gold or pearl accents)
PLEASE NOTE: At anytime during this 9-step process, there could be delays or failures. Equipment failures, glaze interactions, poor handling, etc can happen. I cannot guarantee the anticipated due date, and I definitely cannot guarantee perfection in a handmade item - each piece is uniquely handcrafted and will include all the character and imperfections that come along with that. But... if everything goes to plan you will have a one-of-a-kind heirloom item to cherish for years to come!
- Please send me an inquiry form to determine whether I can accommodate your needs (a couple days)
- If we will proceed, you'll process a non-refundable deposit payment thru my Etsy shop* (a couple days)
- We will have a chat about the specific needs or memories you want to incorporate (30-60 minutes - memory vases often have additional chats)
- Design and production (2-8 weeks depending on item/size/complexity)
- I will send you a non-refundable Etsy invoice for 1/2 of the remaining balance due* (a couple days)
- Once this has been paid it will be bisque fired (1-5 weeks)
- I will glaze and final fire your piece** (2-5 weeks)
- Prior to shipping, I will send you an Etsy invoice for the remaining balance due (a couple days)
- I will carefully pack and ship your item (about a week)
